Terminology: Types of Corrugated Boxes
RSC (Regular Slotted Box)RSC (Regular Slotted Box) are the typical everyday boxes. The lengthwise flaps are one-half the container's width so they meet in the center when folded. The RSC box can be used for most products and is the most common box style. |

FEF (Fully Enveloping Flaps)FEF (Fully Enveloping Flaps) boxes are also known as FOLF (Fully Overlapping Flaps). They have lengthwise flaps that are almost the width of the box. When these flaps are closed, the outer flaps come to within one inch of making a complete overlap. This style of box is especially resistant to rough handling. Twin cushion boxes provide even tougher choices. |

HSC (Half Slotted Box)HSC (Half Slotted Box) are the same as the RSC - Regular Slotted Containers except they are without one set of flaps. In other words, the top is open. |

5PF (Five Panel Folder) Folder-type boxes and trays usually consist of only one piece of board. The bottom of the box is hinged to form two or all side walls and the cover. Locking tabs, handles, display panels etc., can be incorporated in some designs. |
